Sam Flynn decided not to go to his father's old arcade that night Alan Bradley came to his house and told him about the page. He was tired of chasing ghosts, tired of picking open wounds that never fully healed. He tossed the keys in the trash and went joy riding instead. The next morning Alan appeared in his living room once again, with news that ENCOM's board of directors had cut him off. Sam was fine with this; he wanted nothing to do with ENCOM anyway. All the company represented was all the time his father invested in it, time that should have been spent with him when he was younger. A few days later he sold the arcade to Alan after fishing the keys out of the trash and rid himself of everything that reminded him of Kevin Flynn. Everything but his father's old bike and the toys he had given him.

Since then Sam has had to make his own way in the world. Work was much harder to come by than he expected, however. The only job he was able to find was in the fast food business sector as a delivery boy. Oh well. At least now he gets to ride all day...
